full-time Crew Member:

Position: We are hiring one full-time employee from early April through early November (~30 weeks). The position is 30-40 hours/week at $10/hour (opportunity for pay increase based on experience). Duties include all aspects of small-scale vegetable farming: seeding, greenhouse/propagation work, field preparation, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, washing, packing, organic pest-control, small building projects, mowing & small machine operation, light tractor work, farmers' market work & customer service, CSA pick-up and delivery, etc.

Requirements: Previous vegetable farming experience required, ideally a full season. We are looking to hire someone who is personally invested in regenerative agriculture and interested in pursuing farming as a possible career. Must be physically fit and capable of working efficiently in a variety of weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Tractor experience and basic tool knowledge a plus, but not required. Ability to work at a fast pace in groups or alone. Looking for someone energetic, positive, communicative, curious, dedicated, and self-motivated.

Perks include access to veggies grown on the farm. Independent housing and personal transportation necessary. Possible additional employment from other farmers on-site or in the surrounding area.
